The topic of golf has come up about 4 times this week in my world. I had an invite to a charity golf event and I have to say I was disappointed to not be free that day to participate. I’m sure the event would have been fun even though I’m not a golfer.
Perhaps someday I’ll take up golfing but it’s not in my hobby list at this time. I keep seeing highlights on my social media feed of friends enjoying the greens. I even chatted this week of my summer working at a golf course and, to the chagrin of my friends, never golfing a round in my off work hours. Golfing has plenty of elements that tempt me; time outdoors, competition, social time amidst a hobby. Even the multitude of opportunities to be a part of charity events while doing something so enjoyable is appealing!
It won’t be this summer that I get out there but maybe next summer I’ll get a brother or friend to refresh me on the basics. For now I’m eyeing our “Queen of the Green gift box” and I think I’ve figured out my friend’s upcoming birthday gift! Take a look at a couple of our Golf themed options!
